Paul Colligan Interviews Anik Singal

Anik: Oh, affiliates defiantly talk. Matter of fact, there are specific communities set up just so to facilitate that affiliates get the chance to talk to one another. So, no doubt whatsoever that affiliates talk. They talk good and bad. If you are doing things that are great, that's going to get out to them as well. Yea, of course you will have some of your affiliates who are...who don't want to talk, they are not going to talk. They would rather keep it to themselves. But I think more than that, you are finding now a days that affiliates are more than willing to share with one another what program is doing very well for them, especially now that we have things like two-tier programs, there's an incentive to help other affiliates do as well as you are, because you can actually make some money on that.

Paul: Talk about two-tier programs for a minute. A lot of people may not know that.

Anik: Oh, sure. Well, a two-tier program is basically a system that will allow, for example, I'm promoting a program, I really like it, and I could come to you and say, "Paul, I did really well with this program I think you should promote it as well. And, if you decide to sign up, here, use my link. The reason is that if you use my link, the system will know that I referred you, and I will make a little chunk of money on each sell that you refer. Just because I referred you." So, that's the two-tier. So now it incentivizes an affiliate to actually go out and brag about a program, because I can actually make some money off of it.

Paul: Interesting. So there's communities where they talk to each other, and they are even incentivizes to get the word out about the best program firsts.

Anik: Yes, absolutely.

Paul: And what are a couple of those programs where people on the call or on the podcast could go poke around. I know there's abestweb.com, what are some of the others?

Anik: Abestweb is one. You know there's a new one that's been getting some heat now, it's asscommunity.com. And of course you've got a zillion classrooms, you know, not to do a pitch for my own service, but we definitely let affiliates talk with one another. There's a 24/7 forum there. And I've seen it happen plenty of times, posts all the time with people saying, "Hey, you know, I'm thinking of promoting this product or this service, what is your opinion on this, or what do you think about this?" And I just, it kills me sometimes when I see the affiliates come out and say, "Oh my God, don't even get close to it! Don't even think about it. They do this, they do that, they don't respond, they don't do this." And right through that, that program didn't just lose that one affiliate...
